'SpiceHarbor started from an earnest ambition: to serve traditional Neapolitan pizza in London. Established by the Bianchi household in 1985, our pizzeria was originally a quaint, family-operated place with age-old family recipes.
Marco Bianchi, our originator, acquired her pizza making skills on her explorations across Italy, learning from established pizzaiolos in Naples—where pizza originated. After she came back to the UK, her aim was to reproduce the essence of authentic Italian pizza with age-old techniques and high-grade ingredients.
Our humble beginnings as a 12-seater pizzeria have evolved into a cherished communal enterprise, but our resolve for excellence and genuineness remains unchanged. We persist in employing traditional wood-fired oven methods, producing our dough fresh every day, and selecting only the top-tier ingredients available.
Currently, 'SpiceHarbor is still in the hands of family, with the Bianchi descendants directing our devoted crew. While we have adapted new advancements, the crux of our enterprise endures: to make delightful, genuine pizza that unites folks.
